Norwegian clubs must be members of the Norwegian American Sports Confederation (NAIF) and have paid membership fees to participate in NAIF’s official competitions.
We will compete according to current competition rules from ICU/ECU. The regulations can be found on NAIF’s website. Any Norwegian adaptations are listed in the Regulations Section Cheer.Â
NAIF encourages all coaches to read the regulations very carefully and come up with questions ahead of the competition. Questions about the competition rules should be directed to the federation’s rules committee by email: rules@naifcheer.no.
This event is subject to the regulations of the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF) and the Norwegian American Sports Confederation. This also includes NIF’s anti-doping regulations.Â
A case concerning a possible violation of the sports regulations will be considered by NIF’s judicial bodies, and possibly with final effect in the Court of Arbitration for Sports, if the case concerns a violation of the anti-doping regulations. Violation of the rules can result in sanctions, including exclusion from all sporting activities under NIF, including the Norwegian American Sports Federation. For more information see here.Â
By registering, the clubs acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms of participation and accept these.
All athletes are obliged to familiarize themselves with the doping rules laid down by the Anti-Doping Norway (ADNO, www.antidoping.no ). If you are unsure whether the drugs you are using are on the drug list, we recommend checking for safety’s sake, it can be done by a drug search: https://antidoping.no/regler/legemiddelsokÂ
All competing athletes from Norwegian clubs must have a valid and paid license to NAIF. Teams that have athletes without a license will be punished according to the sanction regulations.
The clubs themselves are responsible for ensuring that their athletes have a valid license. Questions regarding registration of a license can be sent to NAIF by email: naif@amerikanskeidretter.no.
Each athlete lines up in alphabetical order by last name and must say their full name when they arrive at the accreditation. Then they go for piercing/jewelry checking. They do NOT need  to bring ID.Â
When registering, all clubs must confirm that the registered athletes are the ones who are actually on the mat and that they have paid for an athlete’s license. Â

We can offer accommodation at Marienlyst school, which is located just across the road from Drammenshallen. There you can sleep in classrooms and have access to toilets and showers inside the school. It is possible to enter there from 5 PM on Friday and have access to approx. 8 PM on Sunday.
Staying at the school requires that there is an awake adult who acts as a fire guard throughout the night and there must be at least 2 adults over the age of 20 who are responsible for the team during the entire stay.
Price is NOK 200 per person.
It is possible to use the kitchen, but if it is to be used, it must of course be washed and cleaned, and left in the same condition as when you arrived. If there are several people who want to use the kitchen at the same time, it is important that you make good agreements.
The use of the kitchen all weekend has a cost of NOK 500 per team.
During your stay, you are responsible for cleaning and leaving the rooms free of rubbish and clutter, as well as putting in place all equipment as it was when you arrived. Any damage to inventory or digital equipment may be invoiced afterwards (or if the school has to order extra cleaning after us). Previously, the school has calculated approx. 20 people in each classroom, so it is important that you report the number.
